Overview

Katherine Loos, Associate Attorney

Katherine Loos is an Associate Attorney at Singleton Schreiber’s Spokane office, where her practice focuses on wildfire litigation and personal injury cases. She is dedicated to helping individuals, families, and communities recover after preventable harm, whether from a devastating wildfire or a serious injury.

Before joining Singleton Schreiber, Ms. Loos spent two years as a law clerk for the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Washington. In that role, she analyzed federal and state law, giving her a close view of how cases are argued and decided in federal court.

Ms. Loos earned her J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Idaho College of Law, and an M.S. in Water Resources. During law school, she served as an editor of the Idaho Law Review and Vice President of the Environmental Law Society, competed in the National Moot Court Competition, and received the Alumni Award for Excellence.

Prior to law school, Ms. Loos worked as a field technician with the Bureau of Land Management and the United States Forest Service. Her experience working on public lands and natural resources informs her understanding of how wildfires start and their effects on surrounding communities. She earned her B.S. in Conservation Biology from Colorado State University.

Ms. Loos is admitted to practice in Washington and before the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Washington.

Outside the office, Ms. Loos enjoys camping, hiking, and long walks with her family and two dogs.
