Celeste Armstrong

Senior Counsel

Overview

Celeste Patton Armstrong serves as Senior Counsel at Singleton Schreiber's Birmingham, Alabama office, where her practice focuses on personal injury, trucking accidents, wrongful death, and insurance recovery and bad faith litigation. With 30 years of civil litigation experience in both federal and state courts, Ms. Armstrong brings a rare depth of perspective to her advocacy on behalf of injured clients and their families.

A seasoned trial attorney, Ms. Armstrong spent the bulk of her career as Managing Trial Attorney for Georgia and Alabama at a large insurance company, where she litigated complex civil matters involving personal injury and insurance coverage. Over the course of her career, she has taken more than 100 jury trials to verdict, a record that speaks to her command of the courtroom and her ability to deliver results under pressure. Her extensive background on the defense side of insurance litigation gives her an invaluable understanding of how insurers evaluate, manage, and contest claims, an advantage she now brings directly to bear for the clients she represents.

Ms. Armstrong received her faculty certification from the National Institute of Trial Advocacy in 2013 and has presented to numerous organizations on trial advocacy, mock jury practice, and her areas of specialization. She is a Fellow of the Council on Legal Education Opportunity (CLEO) and a Fellow of the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD).

Ms. Armstrong earned her Bachelor of Science in Philosophy and Pre-Law from Berea College in Kentucky and her Juris Doctor from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University. She is admitted to practice in Alabama and Georgia. She currently serves on the Alabama State Bar Character and Fitness Board and on the Berea College Board of Trustees and is an active member of the Kiwanis Club of Birmingham.

Outside the office, Ms. Armstrong enjoys reading, watching sports, and spending time with family, especially her two sons.
