IVAT CONFERENCE

Members of the Singleton Schreiber Sexual Abuse and Human Trafficking (SA/HT) team represented the firm as an exhibitor at the IVAT Conference. The team welcomed attendees at the firm's exhibitor table and introduced Singleton Schreiber and the work we do for survivors.

Singleton Schreiber was the only law firm present at the conference, and the team made many valuable networking connections with others who share our commitment to supporting survivors. Vanessa Ratliff and case assistant Anissa Harris were also joined at the table by San Diego County District Attorney Summer Stephan, who stopped by to speak with the team.

Thank you to everyone who helped make our presence at the conference a success!

EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT: COMMUNITY IMPACT AFTER THE EATON FIRE

The Singleton Schreiber team is proud to recognize Elon Mahone, a member of the Social Services Team and Case Assistant, for her continued commitment to supporting the Altadena community following the Eaton Fire. As both a fire survivor and client, Elon has dedicated her time to helping connect individuals and families with resources, support, and hope during the recovery process.

This story highlights the positive impact of community outreach and resilience, including the success of a young entrepreneur whose small business received grant funding to help rebuild and grow after the fire. It serves as a reminder of the strength of community and the meaningful difference one person can make in the lives of others.

Juneteeth office celebration

The San Diego office of Singleton Schreiber came together to recognize and celebrate Juneteenth, a day that commemorates the end of slavery in the United States and honors the history, culture, and contributions of Black Americans.

The celebration provided an opportunity for team members to connect, reflect on the significance of the holiday, and engage in meaningful conversations while fostering a culture of inclusion, respect, and community within the office.

2026 Fire Team Boat Trip

The Fire Team welcomed 2026 in style on a boat! Sailing around San Diego’s Mission Bay, the day was filled with snacks, a hot cocoa bar, laughs, and plenty of team bonding. We played employee bingo, meeting new teammates and reconnecting with others in person. Between the beautiful views, surprise sea lion sightings, and great company, it was a memorable day on the water for the entire Fire Team.

Take a look through the slideshow below to see highlights from a great day on the water with the Fire Team.
