ABOUT ME
Sydney Verga is a Law Clerk in the Environmental Litigation & Policy team. They are delighted to be part of the team because of the firm's commitment to client advocacy and its welcoming work culture. They are eager to work with and learn from the Environmental Litigation team and be a part of Singleton Schreiber's mission to provide top-notch legal services.
Sydney graduated from California Polytechnic University, Humboldt in 2021 with a B.A. in Environmental Studies with an emphasis in media production. In 2023, Sydney started law school at University of San Diego School of Law pursuing a concentration in Environmental and Energy Law. They have interned with the Legal Aid Society of San Diego's Pro-Bono team, serving the community at self-help legal clinics throughout San Diego County, and worked as a Law Clerk for the California Department of Toxic Substances Control.
Outside of work and school, Sydney enjoys expressing their creative side with graphic design and film photography. They love spoiling their two cats and making/consuming espresso beverages. Before moving to San Diego to start law school, they worked as a barista at a small coffee shop and bakery in Humboldt County.
FUN FACT
Sydney loves to travel, and their favorite place they've visited so far is Corcovado National Park in southwest Costa Rica!
