Sean Torley

Settlement Support Paralegal

ABOUT ME

Sean Torley is a Settlement Support Paralegal and Settlement Team Lead at Singleton Schreiber. He embraces the firm’s compassionate, client-centered approach and its amazing culture that makes employees feel valued and appreciated. He believes this translates into a superior experience for our clients and staff alike. Sean is passionate about, and committed to, ensuring clients have the best possible experience and for each of them to know the firm genuinely cares.

Sean has 24 years of legal experience in practice areas that include wills and trusts, general civil and business litigation, personal injury, family law and mass torts/fire litigation. Throughout his career, Sean strives to be his personal best and has developed a caring, compassionate and dedicated philosophy that extends to both his professional and personal life. Sean is constantly looking for ways to improve and streamline processes and procedures to realize the best possible outcome for the firm and its clients, and enjoys working collaboratively with other departments to help develop and maintain a “big picture” approach.

When he’s not working, Sean loves to spend time with his wife of 25 years, going on road trips (to there and back again, or nowhere in particular), attending hockey games (Go Ducks/Gulls!), live theater, Padres and Chargers home games and game show/sitcom tapings. After raising kids for about 37 years, his youngest is now 18 and about to join the Army, and Sean is excited about the idea of more “me” time.

FUN FACT

Sean can move both sides of his top lip with full muscle control, voluntarily wiggle his ears and scalp, and can also raise each eyebrow independently of the other!
