ABOUT ME
Mara Tollefson is a Senior Financial Analyst in the Accounting Department at Singleton Schreiber. She’s excited to be joining such a great team with a noble mission to make a real difference in our community. She looks forward to growing alongside colleagues who share the same passion and purpose.
Mara is a graduate of Point Loma Nazarene University, where she studied Finance and Computer Information Systems. She has spent her career in corporate finance roles across the defense and life sciences industries. Most recently, she led FP&A for a global business unit at Thermo Fisher Scientific, where she focused on strategic planning, financial forecasting and reporting, and helping drive business performance.
Outside of work, Mara enjoys golfing, attending Padres games, hiking, swimming, cooking, and spending time with family and friends. She is a frequent volunteer for a San Diego-based nonprofit that supports survivors of human trafficking and is a member of the Fermanian School of Business Alumni Board at PLNU.
FUN FACT
I recently completed the annual 1 mile La Jolla Cove Swim! The conditions were beautiful and saw tons of fish, sea lions, and a shark!
