Overview

Jim Harden serves as Chief Information Officer at Singleton Schreiber, where he oversees the firm’s information technology strategy, infrastructure, and cybersecurity initiatives. With more than 25 years of experience in technology leadership, he has guided organizations through major digital transformations and built high performing global teams across industries ranging from startups to Fortune 500 companies.

Harden began his career in the U.S. Marine Corps as a Tactical Data Network Specialist before advancing into tactical operations planning roles supporting combat missions worldwide. Following his service, he played a key role in a large-scale Department of Defense modernization project for the Navy and Marine Corps, experience that equips him to lead complex, enterprise-wide IT initiatives.

Prior to joining the firm, Harden directed IT operations for multi-location organizations spanning legal services and hospitality, manufacturing, managing infrastructure, cybersecurity, and support functions for dozens of sites nationwide. He has led cross-functional teams through major system migrations, vendor consolidations, and efficiency overhauls.

Harden earned an Associate of Arts degree in Computer Science from Remington College San Diego. He has been recognized by San Diego Magazine as a Top Tech Exec Nominee in 2011, 2023, and 2025. Outside of his professional work, he is active in supporting veteran mental health initiatives through organizations such as Disabled American Veterans (DAV) and The Warrior Project.
