Jennifer Rafter is the Director of Business Development and Referral Relationships at Singleton Schreiber. She is proud to be part of a firm known for its unwavering commitment to client advocacy and its welcoming, collaborative culture. In her role, Jennifer focuses on cultivating and strengthening strategic partnerships, expanding referral networks, and building meaningful relationships with attorneys, bar associations, and professional organizations. She is passionate about enhancing the firm’s visibility and supporting its continued growth in delivering exceptional legal services.

After earning her J.D. in Washington, D.C., Jenn joined the American Association for Justice, where she played an integral role in membership development and engagement initiatives. She was particularly focused on strengthening and elevating the organization’s New Lawyers Division, Women’s Caucus, Minority Caucus, and LGBT Caucus—efforts that deepened her commitment to fostering inclusion and professional connection within the legal community. .Jennifer brings energy, strategic insight, and a genuine enthusiasm for relationship-building to her work. She looks forward to connecting with colleagues and partners who share a dedication to advocacy and excellence.

Outside the office, Jenn can often be found devouring a new book or listening to the latest true crime podcast. On weekends, she enjoys exploring D.C. with friends, hiking in Virginia, or heading down the shore with her adorable (and slightly chaotic) bloodhound/lab rescue, Daisy. If you’re ever in D.C., she’s always happy to recommend her favorite brunch and Italian spots.

I got a work visa after finishing my Master's so I could live in Ireland for five months -- best decision ever!
