Christina Ruff

Paralegal

ABOUT ME

Christina Ruff is a Fire Damages Discovery Paralegal at Singleton Schreiber. She feels that her life’s work has prepared her for this position with the firm not only because of her background in technology support, teaching, living abroad, and legal services, but also because of her innate compassion for people. Christina is thrilled with joining the team in applying her professional skills gathered from her legal experiences as an intern for a circuit court judge, and paralegal roles in family law, state agency human services/child welfare, creditor’s rights, medical malpractice litigation, and mass tort cases involving product liability. Her fondest role was in working closely with firefighting professionals who suffered as victims of the same toxic chemicals they had once trusted as daily tools to help others.

Outside of work, Christina’s adventurous side once enjoyed riding and showing her horses. Now she enjoys off-roading her self-customized Jeep on wooded trails, vast dunes of sand, filthy mud pits, and fresh summits of snow, hoping for the days she can take on Moab and the Rubicon as she travels the country. In the meantime, she also balances her peaceful side in her garden, growing vegetables for her table, herbs for her teas, and flowers like dahlias, bearded irises, and daffodils for her own pleasure as well as gifts. In the summer, she tries to find time to relax in her heirloom hammock under a canopy of the giant maple tree she once climbed at her childhood home, now her own.

FUN FACT

Music has always been pulsing through my veins, as a ballerina in my youth, to jazz, drill, live music "shake & bake," and advancing to partner dancing in ballroom, swing, country, and Latin dance.
