CELEBRATING LACRISHA McALLISTER

We are proud to celebrate an outstanding accomplishment by Lacrisha McAllister, who was recently elected Treasurer of Region 5 of the National Bar Association (NBA). Elected by vote on Monday, July 27, Lacrisha now serves in a leadership position for one of the NBA's most active and geographically diverse regions. This election is a testament to her legal acumen, professional dedication, and standing within the bar community.

The National Bar Association is the nation's oldest and largest organization dedicated to African American lawyers and judges. Region 5 encompasses a substantial service area including Louisiana, Mississippi, and Texas, and plays a vital leadership role in advancing the NBA's mission of promoting excellence in the legal profession, protecting civil rights, and fostering professional development and business opportunities for African American attorneys and judges.

As Treasurer, Lacrisha will be responsible for overseeing the financial stewardship of Region 5, managing budgets, and ensuring fiscal accountability as the region continues its important work advancing justice and opportunity. Her election reflects the trust and confidence her colleagues place in her judgment, integrity, and commitment to the organization's core mission.
