San Diego Jury Finds Protective Life in Material Breach of Contract

Protective Life Insurance Company, an insurance recovery and bad faith matter. After more than a decade of litigation, including multiple appeals and a prior trial, a San Diego jury found that Protective Life Insurance Company violated California’s life insurance lapse statutes and materially breached its contract obligations.
