$3 Million Settlement Reached in Medical Malpractice Nerve Injury Case

Shannon Whitaker, Associate Attorney, and Brett Schreiber, Founding Partner, of Singleton Schreiber secured a $3 million settlement in a medical malpractice case against Kaiser Permanente. The client suffered permanent nerve damage during a routine blood draw after a needle was negligently inserted and struck the lateral antebrachial cutaneous nerve.

The injury caused lasting impairment and ended the client’s ability to continue performing surgical procedures. The settlement reflects the firm’s commitment to holding healthcare providers accountable when routine medical care results in life-altering harm.
