Overview
Kristina Aiad-Toss is an associate in the mass torts and personal injury practice group.
Prior to joining Singleton Schreiber, Ms. Aiad-Toss began her legal career at a nationwide mass tort firm representing survivors of human trafficking against industries and corporations that benefited from their suffering. Ms. Aiad-Toss continued to play a key role in the management of the firm’s Boy Scout Sex child abuse and hair relaxer dockets.
Ms. Aiad-Toss has long been a dedicated advocate for social justice and human rights. Her previous work and legal education focused on issues affecting marginalized communities both locally and internationally, including human trafficking, environmental impacts of development projects, women’s rights, and armed conflict. During college, Ms. Aiad-Toss focused on food security and agricultural policy during an internship with the U.S. Mission to the United Nations.
After earning her bachelor’s degree in Philosophy, Political Science, and Economics from the University of Akron, Ms. Aiad-Toss graduated with a Juris Doctor from Case Western Reserve University School of Law as a Vattel International Law Fellow and received an LLM from Middlesex University in London. During her time in law school, she was a co-captain of the Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot Court Team, a Klatsky Fellow with Human Rights Watch, and co-founder of an anti-human trafficking non-profit.
Ms. Aiad-Toss is currently an Ohio State Bar Foundation Fellow and serves as the secretary of the Board of Directors for national anti-trafficking non-profit, The SOAP Project.
Ms. Aiad-Toss is always planning her next adventure. In her free-time, Ms. Aiad-Toss can be found traveling to a new destination, planning photoshoots, hiking up a mountain, or cooking an elaborate meal.
