Overview
Meagan Verschueren leads Singleton Schreiber’s Sexual Assault and Sex Trafficking Practice Group, where she devotes her career exclusively to representing survivors of sexual violence and exploitation. Known for her trauma-informed and relentless advocacy, Meagan has dedicated her entire legal career to standing up for those harmed by abuse, assault, and systemic negligence.
A Michigan native, Meagan earned her degree in Psychology from the University of Tampa before graduating cum laude from California Western School of Law in 2016. She began her legal career at San Diego’s oldest personal injury firm, where she litigated catastrophic injury and high-profile cases against some of the nation’s largest corporations—securing numerous multi-million-dollar results for her clients.
Meagan is deeply committed to continuous education and leadership within the survivor advocacy community. She regularly presents at national conferences and legal training sessions, sharing her expertise in trauma-informed litigation and in strategies for holding institutions accountable.
A Past President of the Tom Homann LGBT Law Association, Meagan remains actively involved in advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion within the legal field. She also mentors aspiring attorneys and law students, helping cultivate the next generation of compassionate advocates.
When she’s not fighting for survivors, Meagan enjoys traveling and spending time with her daughters.
