Federal Lawsuit Filed Against SeaTac Motel 6s Over Alleged Sex Trafficking of Minor
Singleton Schreiber attorney Meagan Verschueren, Counsel, was featured in KIRO 7 News regarding a federal lawsuit filed against multiple Motel 6 locations in SeaTac, Washington, alleging sex trafficking of a minor.
Verschueren represents a Jane Doe survivor allegedly trafficked at two Motel 6 properties starting at age 14. The lawsuit claims the properties enabled traffickers to operate openly and failed to implement basic anti-trafficking measures.
The case highlights allegations that the defendants ignored clear warning signs, allowed ongoing exploitation on the premises, and profited from room rentals linked to trafficking activity.
“This is not an isolated incident — it’s part of a disturbing pattern,” Verschueren said. “For years, these same properties have been the site of repeated sex trafficking allegations, and yet meaningful action to protect vulnerable individuals has not been taken.”
