Overview

The Floods Were a Planning Disaster,

Not Just a NatuRal Disaster

With relentless winter rain storms, San Diego faced unprecedented flooding in 2024. The aftermath left numerous families and communities devastated, including areas along Chollas Creek.

The combination of unpredictable storms and a neglected stormwater infrastructure has led to the flooding and destruction of homes, companies, and overall communities.

San Diego Flood 2024: Town Halls

Over the months, flood victims of the city of San Diego, have joined us at numerous in-person and virtual town halls. With Alliance San Diego, we bridged the gaps and created opportunities for those who needed help to meet with trusted community groups and lawyers. We've discussed an ongoing collective strategy to help everyone in the community pursue compensation for the flood damage caused by neglected city infrastructure and also pursue changes at City Hall to get the investments that our neighborhoods deserve.

We hope that through these meetings, consistent client advocacy, and by working together, we can make change.
