Media Mention
CBS 8

Brett Schreiber, Partner at Singleton Schreiber, was featured in a CBS 8 news segment, "San Diego flood victims receive legal aid from law firm," on February 17, 2024 which covered San Diego residents recovering from the January 22 floods. Mr. Schreiber emphasized the importance of documenting mud lines and flood lines in homes to create a record for future claims, and warned that victims have only six months from the disaster to file a claim with the government.  He highlighted that immigration status should not prevent anyone from pursuing legal action and explained that California law allows individuals of any immigration status to bring a claim in the civil justice system, clarifying that the firm is not pursuing a class action lawsuit but rather a "mass action"
