Media Mention
NBC 7 San Diego

Domenic Martini, Counsel at Singleton Schreiber in San Diego, was recently interviewed by NBC 7 San Diego in their news segment, "January Flood Victims Still Rebuilding as Lawsuit Against San Diego Goes Forward".

The segment follows the story of one Chollas Creek flood victim, Tony Tricario, who discussed the personal and financial struggles he continues to face since the 2024 San Diego Flood. He is one of many individuals who are suing the city of San Diego, alleging that the city failed to maintain Chollas Creek and the storm water system, which resulted in catastrophe.

Domenic, who recently appeared in court on Friday, said that the lawsuit has two aims:

"It's putting these people back into a position they were in before the flood, where their homes are rebuilt, and they're back to living their lives. But it's also securing the future of these people and ensuring that the city of San Diego is committed to making changes so that this doesn't happen again."

The next hearing is planned to take place in December 2024.
