Overview

Kathryn Baxendale graduated from Santa Barbara College of Law and is admitted to practice in California state courts. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Scripps College and Master’s in Business Administration from Virscend University. Ms. Baxendale currently works in the Fire Litigation practice area, representing survivors of wildfires.

Before joining Singleton Schreiber, she worked briefly representing community associations within Orange County. Ms. Baxendale then worked extensively with wireless carriers, utilities, and municipalities to place equipment within public rights-of-way throughout Southern California and Hawaii to increase connectivity and build out the network for first responders.

As a law student, Ms. Baxendale clerked for the presiding judge of the Santa Barbara Superior Court and later with the Santa Barbara District Attorney’s Office.

Before her legal career, Ms. Baxendale was with a clean energy consulting firm in Santa Barbara that worked to influence regulations at California agencies including the Air Resources Board, Public Utilities Commission and Energy Commission.

Ms. Baxendale is a member of the Orange County Women Lawyers Association and Orange County Bar Association, where she volunteers on the Community Outreach Committee. She enjoys reading historical mysteries, spending time with her family, and working in the garden.
