Overview

Jonna Lothyan is a member of our Motions, Writs, & Appeals practice group. An accomplished litigator and appellate attorney, she began her practice with one of the nation’s largest defense firms. This experience gave her valuable insight into defense strategies and informs the effective arguments she develops on behalf of her clients at Singleton Schreiber, where she is passionate about fighting for the compensation her clients deserve.

Ms. Lothyan has successfully handled appellate cases at all levels of the judiciary. She is also an experienced litigator who has tried several cases to verdict and managed cases in both state and federal court through all phases, including pre-litigation evaluation, investigation, discovery, motion practice, mediation, arbitration, and trial.

After earning a B.A. in psychology from Chapman University, Ms. Lothyan attended Thomas Jefferson School of Law, where she graduated, cum laude, in 2014. Super Lawyers recognized Ms. Lothyan as a “Rising Star” in 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023.

Ms. Lothyan is admitted to practice in all California Courts of Appeal, the U.S, Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and the California Supreme Court. 

In her free time, she enjoys hiking and paddle boarding with her husband and two children.
