Las Vegas, Nevada – Earlier this month, The National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials (NALEO) elected Singleton Schreiber New Mexico Managing Partner Brian Colón to its leadership team for the second year in a row. Colón has been a board member since 2021, served as the organization’s Treasurer in the 2023 – 2024 term, and is now the First Vice President for the 2024 – 2025 term.
In addition to Mr. Colón's service at NALEO, he’s a Managing Partner of national law firm Singleton Schreiber’s New Mexico offices and a member of the New Mexico Commission of Public Records. A dedicated public servant, Brian concurrently serves as a board member for the New Mexico Hispanic Bar Association, trustee for the Albuquerque Community Foundation, and Chairman of the New Mexico Community Trust. He also previously served as New Mexico State Auditor from 2019 – 2023 and Chairman of the New Mexico Democratic Party from 2007 – 2009, among many other notable accomplishments.
The National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials (NALEO), established in 1976, is a 501(c)(4) non-partisan leadership organization whose constituency includes the nation’s more than 7,000 elected and appointed Latino officials. Brian is deeply connected to his roots in New Mexico and looks forward to continuing his and NALEO’s hard work to advocate for Latino participation in the American political process.
