Singleton Schreiber LLP and the Summerville Firm LLC and are in the spotlight this week after the Georgia Supreme Court unanimously reversed a lower court decision that had barred a woman's product liability lawsuit. The Court of Appeals had previously dismissed Kiara Burroughs' claims, ruling that Georgia’s 10-year statute of repose began when she first purchased hair relaxers made by L’Oréal USA Inc. and Strength of Nature Global LLC decades ago.

Darren Summerville and Elizabeth Stone of The Summerville Firm and Danielle Ward Mason of Singleton Schreiber represent Burroughs.
