Brett Schreiber, founding Partner at Singleton Schreiber, was featured in an Al Jazeera article titled, "Eyeing the Future of Self-Driving Cars, Musk’s Tesla Settles Accident Case" which was published on September 18, 2025, and details Tesla settling two lawsuits related to 2019 California crashes involving Autopilot, including one which involved the death of a 15-year-old.

The settlements come just weeks after a Florida jury found Tesla partially responsible for a fatal crash and imposed a $243 million verdict. The article notes that Tesla's settlements and recent legal defeat raise questions about the safety of its technology at a time when the company has bet its future on the sales of Robotaxis and robots.

Al Jazeera also highlights Schreiber's perspective on the recurring issue of "last-second disengagement" in many of his cases, which did not allow drivers enough time to take control of the vehicle.
