Media Mention
Politico

Singleton Schreiber’s Of Counsel attorney Ryan Crosswell was recently featured in a Politico article covering a rare bipartisan “shadow hearing” led by Senate and House Democrats. The article, titled "Democrats question former DOJ officials about Trump administration dealings", highlights testimony from former Justice Department officials raising concerns about political interference in high-profile cases.

Crosswell, who previously served in the DOJ’s public integrity section, testified about his resignation following internal pressure to support the dismissal of corruption charges against New York City Mayor Eric Adams.

“Attorneys in our division were asked to sign off on dropping the case—after others had already resigned in protest,” Crosswell said during the hearing.

His decision to step down rather than compromise his principles underscores his longstanding commitment to the fair administration of justice—a commitment he brings with him to his work at Singleton Schreiber.
