Danielle Ward Mason, Partner at Singleton Schreiber, was featured by Samford University Cumberland School of Law in an article titled "Cumberland School of Law Student Gains National Litigation Experience Through Prestigious Summer Fellowship," published on August 10, 2026.
Mason provided mentorship to second-year law student Haley Wilson during Wilson's summer as a Mason Gibbs Plaintiffs' Pathway Fellow at Singleton Schreiber's Montgomery office. Throughout the fellowship, Wilson conducted legal research, drafted complaints and demand letters, analyzed cases, and assisted with trial preparation under Mason's guidance. Mason also accompanied Wilson to Chicago to observe depositions in active litigation and facilitated Wilson's attendance at the American Association for Justice Annual Convention.
The fellowship highlighted the value of hands-on litigation experience and direct mentorship in plaintiff-side practice. Mason, who was recently named to Forbes' inaugural America's Top Women Lawyers list, demonstrated her commitment to developing the next generation of trial advocates and to the firm's culture of experiential learning.
"Beyond the hands-on legal experience, I have been incredibly grateful for the opportunity to learn under Danielle Ward Mason. Her guidance and investment in my growth as a future trial lawyer have made this fellowship even more meaningful."
