ABOUT ME
Mya-Ariel Blake is a Law Clerk at Singleton Schreiber in the Mass Torts and Class Actions practices, where she supports complex litigation involving consumer fraud cases out of Washington, D.C. She is thrilled to be part of the team and to support Singleton Schreiber's commitment to safeguarding the public and fearlessly advocating against corporate misconduct.
Mya brings a strong background in legal research, writing, and public accountability. Prior to joining Singleton Schreiber, she served as a Legal Intern with American Oversight, where she conducted in-depth legal research, drafted and refined federal FOIA requests and administrative appeals. She also gained corporate legal experience as a Legal Intern, supporting regulatory research, compliance initiatives, and dispute resolution preparation. Earlier in her career, Mya worked in client-facing and administrative roles, including as an Intake Specialist Intern, where she conducted legal screenings and assisted with case evaluation.
Mya is currently a Juris Doctor candidate at Howard University School of Law, where she is a Merit Scholar and serves as a Staff Editor for the Howard Human & Civil Rights Law Review. She earned her Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude, in Psychology and Sociology from Case Western Reserve University, where she was recognized with the Mark Lefton Award for Sociological Excellence and inducted into the Alpha Kappa Delta Honor Society. Outside of her legal work, Mya enjoys visiting new restaurants and experiment with new recipes.
