ABOUT ME
Carly Steele is a Law Clerk in the Environmental Department at Singleton Schreiber. She’s excited to be part of a team committed to pursuing justice for those impacted by environmental harms. She is looking forward to supporting and collaborating with such a passionate and dedicated team of advocates.
Carly is a third-year law student with a demonstrated commitment to environmental law. She gained valuable practical experience through internships with Fell Law, The San Diego City Attorney’s Office, and a judicial externship with the Honorable Andrew G. Schopler at the U.S. District Court, Southern District of California. Her internship with the Earthjustice Clean Energy Program and her position as Editor-in-Chief for the San Diego Journal of Climate and Energy Law gave her valuable insight into the environmental law field which she looks forward to applying and building upon in her new role.
Outside of work, Carly enjoys perusing local farmers markets, thrift stores, and dog beaches. As an espresso enthusiast she is always looking to try a new coffee shop. She loves spending time outdoors, hiking, camping, and the occasional white water rafting trip.
