Overview
Mike Webb is the Western States Public Policy Director for Singleton Schreiber. He is a seasoned public affairs executive with over fifteen years of experience in strategic leadership and policy development with a proven track record of guiding high-level legislative initiatives.
Mr. Webb graduated from the University of Richmond with a degree in Political Science. He has worked on successful campaigns for President, Congress, Governor, and Attorney General.
Mr. Webb worked in the Washington State Attorney General’s Office for 12 years, including nearly 8 years as Chief of Staff. Serving as Chief of Staff to the Attorney General, Mike provided executive oversight and managed the agency’s communications, policy, and government relations teams. During that period, the Attorney General’s Office demonstrated national leadership in multiple areas, including civil rights, immigration, voter access, consumer protection, antitrust, worker rights, and firearm safety. As Chief of Staff, he helped Attorney General Ferguson grow the office’s affirmative litigation divisions from fewer than 20 attorneys to 120. He also spearheaded successful bipartisan legislative initiatives to strengthen protections for consumers, human trafficking survivors, workers, whistleblowers, and crime victims.
Mr. Webb helped manage Ferguson’s transition into the Governor’s Office, where he played a key role in the appointment process for cabinet heads and the policy team. He served as Governor Ferguson’s Chief Strategy Officer for the first three months of his term, where he managed the Governor’s policy, legislative, external relations, and communications teams.
Mr. Webb also served for two years as a voting Commissioner on the Washington State Criminal Justice Training Commission, which includes the Basic Law Enforcement Academy.
Mr. Webb and his wife Elizabeth are raising their two daughters and two golden doodles in Tacoma, Washington.
