Overview

Michael Stapleton serves as an Associate Attorney at Singleton Schreiber's Spokane office where his practice focuses on personal injury as well as sexual assault and human trafficking litigation. Mr. Stapleton is committed to advocating for survivors and injury victims, helping them pursue justice and accountability against those who have caused them harm.

Prior to joining Singleton Schreiber, Mr. Stapleton worked in civil litigation, gaining experience at both a private defense litigation firm, and the Washington State Attorney General's office. His background includes work on childhood sex abuse cases, bad faith insurance litigation, personal injury, wrongful death, and civil rights matters. He now draws on his defense-side and government legal knowledge to advocate on behalf of plaintiffs.

Mr. Stapleton earned his Bachelor of Arts in Criminology, Law, and Society, summa cum laude, from George Mason University before going on to earn his Juris Doctor, summa cum laude, from Gonzaga University School of Law. While at Gonzaga University School of Law, he worked with the University's Elder Law Clinic, where he helped low-income individuals with estate planning. His academic achievements reflect a longstanding dedication to the study of law and its role in protecting vulnerable individuals.

Mr. Stapleton is admitted to practice law in the State of Washington. He brings a strong academic foundation and a genuine commitment to client advocacy to every case he handles, particularly for those affected by personal injury, sexual assault, and human trafficking.

Outside of the office, Mr. Stapleton enjoys strategic board games with friends and Sunday dinners with family.
