Gretel Lee is Counsel at Singleton Schreiber’s Denver office, where her practice focuses on environmental litigation. She has dedicated her legal career to representing people, public entities, and communities in environmental matters, and brings a tenacious and compassionate approach to the clients she serves.
Prior to joining Singleton Schreiber, Ms. Lee represented public water providers against chemical manufacturers over groundwater contamination and represented states and sovereign subdivisions against the fossil fuel industry over deceptive marketing practices. She also represented communities and joint powers groups across Minnesota, advising on environmental compliance and on federal and state rulemakings in civil and administrative proceedings. Following law school, she served as a public interest legal fellow sponsored by the Robina Institute, where she focused on comprehensive environmental, administrative, and judicial review of new energy and mining projects.
Ms. Lee earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Minnesota Law School, along with a Certification in Environmental and Energy Law. Outside of work, Ms. Lee can be found on the shores of Lake Superior, hiking with her husband and dogs, exploring the Boundary Waters, browsing the presidential history section of a local bookstore, or cheering on Minnesota’s sports teams.
