Jesús Chuy Muñoz

Jesús "Chuy" Muñoz serves as Deputy Chief Operating Officer at Singleton Schreiber, where he leads workflow and process design, people operations, and cross-functional execution across the firm's practice groups and support departments.

With more than 20 years in the legal field — including roles as a litigation paralegal and as the firm's Executive Director — Chuy brings a ground-level understanding of legal operations paired with the strategic perspective to drive change at scale. He oversees initiatives spanning continuous process improvement, training, technology integration, and organizational culture.

Originally from Tijuana, Mexico, Chuy grew up in Chula Vista, California, and earned a bachelor's degree in political science from the University of California, San Diego. His background instilled an early appreciation for the communities the firm serves — and for the mission at the heart of Singleton Schreiber's work: seeking justice through fearless advocacy and holding the harmful accountable.

Outside the office, Chuy is a dedicated family man who enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. He volunteers with Penya Blaugrana San Diego, a supporters' organization that channels its community around causes including cancer research, autism awareness, and youth sports access.
