Benjamin Koh

Associate Attorney

Overview

Ben Koh first joined Singleton Schreiber as a law clerk while studying law at the University of San Diego, and is now an associate attorney in our Civil Rights and our Personal Injury and Wrongful Death practice groups. Driven by his compassion for the underdog, he is proud to represent individuals facing civil rights violations, unjust injuries, or the tragic loss of a loved one.

Born in Korea and raised on the east coast, Koh relocated to San Diego in 2018. He earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of San Diego School of Law as a distinguished member of the class of 2023. While in law school, Mr. Koh served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Thomas J. Whelan of the United States District Court, Southern District of California. He also immersed himself in the San Diego AAPI legal community, assuming the role of President of the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association. Notably, Mr. Koh earned recognition for his exceptional leadership, academic excellence, and oral advocacy. He was also awarded for his dedicated service to both the Pan Asian Lawyers of San Diego and the Korean American Bar Association of San Diego.

Mr. Koh’s compassion and sense of community extends beyond the courtroom. In his free time, he dedicates his time to spoiling his two standard poodles, mentoring AAPI law students, and frequenting live music events.
