Nationally known Birmingham litigator brings leadership and trial experience to Singleton Schreiber, a firm with a reputation for fearless advocacy. She brings with her as senior counsel Blake Milner and attorney Treasure Sutton.
BIRMINGHAM, ALABAMA -- Singleton Schreiber is proud to announce that Sara L. Williams has joined the firm as a Partner focusing on personal injury and wrongful death cases. Williams brings extensive trial experience to the firm as it continues its growth and national expansion into Birmingham, Alabama. She is joined by attorneys Blake Milner and Treasure Sutton, who will further strengthen Singleton Schreiber’s presence and commitment to serving clients in the Southeast.
Over the course of her almost 20-year career, Williams has represented hundreds of individuals and families who have suffered losses truck wrecks, sex assaults, car wrecks, shootings and more. She has handled complex litigation in both federal and state court, earning recognition for her advocacy on behalf of clients facing life altering injuries and losses.

From 2017 to 2021, Williams served as managing attorney for her previous firm, overseeing its growth to more than 100 attorneys and 400 staff across multiple states, including Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, Mississippi, Louisiana, Arkansas, and Massachusetts. In 2021 she returned to her full-time practice and launched a widely followed social media platform dedicated to empowering women in law.

In addition to her passion for advocating for clients, Williams has been an active trial advocacy educator for over 15 years. Since 2010 she has coached Cumberland School of Law's nationally ranked mock trial teams. She has taught as an adjunct professor at Cumberland since 2012 and from 2023-2025 served as the visiting director of Cumberland's Advocacy Programs. Williams is a member of the Alabama State Bar, Birmingham Bar Association, American Association for Justice, Magic City Bar Association and Alabama Lawyers Association.
Williams is joined in the Birmingham office by two of her former students, Blake Milner and Treasure Sutton. Milner focuses on personal injury and whistleblower litigation, representing individuals harmed by negligence and fraud. A former Assistant U.S. Attorney and Deputy District Attorney, he has tried dozens of jury cases and led complex federal prosecutions involving organized crime, fraud, and violent offenses. He also brings experience in white collar defense and False Claims Act matters. Beyond his practice, Milner has coached the nationally ranked Cumberland School of Law Trial Team since 2017, mentoring law students in trial skills and courtroom strategy.
Sutton brings valuable experience to her role, having contributed to the resolution of more than 100 personal injury matters, including auto accidents, slip and fall incidents, and premises liability claims. Through internships and clerkships, she also gained firsthand exposure to serious criminal cases, assisting with trial preparation, legal research, and client communications. Her background includes working alongside attorneys and judges on a wide range of legal issues in both trial and pretrial settings.
