Singleton Schreiber Founding Partner, Brett Schreiber, was recently quoted in an article by Futurism. As autopilot and self-driving cars become prominent in major cities, tech and car giant Tesla misses the mark in the race to become the largest autopilot car company. As the competition intensifies behind the technology of autopilot, Elon Musk scoffs at the idea of having Lidar and Radar as a part of the autopilot, calling it "lame."

This article highlights recent developments by tech and car giant Tesla, unveiling their latest attempt to enter the fully autonomous driving market. As Waymo continues to dominate the self-driving car market, Tesla struggles to provide self-driving taxis. However, while all other self-driving companies acknowledge the fact that there must be more than cameras to complete a self-driving car, Elon calls this technology 'Lame' and will continue to focus solely on cameras as its primary form of driving data retrieval. Founding Partner of SingletonSchreiber was quoted as saying, "Tesla continues to have this fetishistic view that it’s going to operate its system solely on cameras, despite every intelligent human being in this entire space saying that can’t be done." Although it has been tested numerous times, Musk refuses to acknowledge the disadvantage he puts himself, his cars, and his passengers in. There have been multiple lawsuits filed against Tesla for Autopilot-related accidents. Mr. Schreiber also stated, "What you're also going to see, which is the true tragedy of this thing, is people continuing to be injured and killed by this technology..."

Tesla's Wobbly rollout of RoboTaxi is built on failed promises and rushed deadlines. Tesla will continue to fall behind its competitors in future races unless it decides to implement similar technologies.
