Brett Schreiber, Partner at Singleton Schreiber in San Diego, was recently featured in Futurism - The Byte's article, "Tesla Sued by Family of Man They Say Was Killed by Autopilot" which covers the recent wrongful death lawsuit filed by Singleton Schreiber against Tesla and Elon Musk on behalf of Genesis Giovanni Mendoza-Martinez.

The lawsuit alleges that Mr. Musk and Tesla knowingly mislead the public about the capabilities of Autopilot, leading drivers to believe that the cars could safely drive themselves. While Tesla and Musk contend that the driver was responsible for the accidents due to negligence, Mr. Schreiber argues that Tesla is using its customers as its beta testers for its flawed software on public roads.

"This is yet another example of Tesla using our public roadways to perform research and development of its autonomous driving technology," said Mr. Schreiber.

The article also mentions that this lawsuit is one of many active lawsuits and investigations involving Tesla and its driver-assistance technologies.
