Gerald Singleton, managing partner at Singleton Schreiber, was recently featured in a KGW8 News article, "Man sues BNSF Railway after losing house to Tunnel 5 Fire in Skamania County" on January 31st, 2024, which covered the investigation that determined the Tunnel 5 fire was caysed by an aging BNSF trainas well as the ongoing lawsuit against BNSF by Lance Brooks.

"The irresponsible actions of BNSF Railway jeopardized lives, destroyed homes and exhausted the resources of the entire surrounding region,” Gerald Singleton said adding,"Lance's out of pockets were extremely high, and the only reason he had to leave his home was BNSF’s negligence. The railway must be held accountable, and our lawsuit seeks to do just that".
