Knut Johnson, Senior Counsel at Singleton Schreiber, was recently featured in Bay City News in an article titled “Lawyers rally at Moss Landing battery facility after PG&E makes aborted attempt at restart.”In the article, Johnson spoke at a community rally alongside environmental advocate Erin Brockovich, voicing concerns over PG&E’s role in the design and oversight of the Moss Landing facility, which suffered a major fire in January 2025. He noted the firm’s investigation into state filings that allegedly show PG&E had a clear role in the facility’s planning and design, calling it “incompetent” and grounds for a negligence claim.

Johnson added that Singleton Schreiber represents 800 people impacted by the fire, many of whom are suffering ongoing health issues, anxiety, and property damage. “They’ve been traumatized since January… They’re really stressed. The anxiety is through the roof,” he said. Singleton Schreiber is pursuing a mix of personal injury and property loss claims on behalf of the affected community.
