Brett Schreiber, Partner at Singleton Schreiber in San Diego, was recently featured on NBC 7 San Diego in their news segment, "Imperial Beach Neighbors File Suit Against Water Treatment Company".

The news segment provides a general overview of the recent mass action lawsuit filed against Veolia Water on Tuesday on behalf of residents who are being impacted by a recent sewage spill in Imperial Beach. In his interview, Mr. Schreiber gave strong words against Veolia Water, an international company currently contracted by the US government to help manage the South Bay International Water Treatment Plant in San Ysidro.

"This [spill] means not being able to go outside, not being able to use your beaches, not being able to go to your parks without dealing with offensive odors, toxic air, toxic water. What we have seen over the last two decades is that they have done an abysmal, an absolute terrible job at that. They almost seem to be intentionally failing at their job".

The lawsuit, filed recently on Tuesday, is expected to grow by thousands, according to Mr. Schreiber.
