Media Mention
KRQE

Brian Colón, managing partner of Singleton Schreiber in New Mexico, was recently featured in a top article on KRQE, where they provided an overview of how victims of the government-sparked Hermit's Peak/Calf Canyon Fire are struggling to cope two years later. Colón provided his thoughts on the ongoing lawsuit against FEMA, the ongoing claims process, and how entire generations of New Mexican families are suffering as a result.

"Twenty-five weeks would have been acceptable, but 25 months? These folks essentially have been retraumatized by FEMA. . . [and] will never be made whole. You can’t give them back what the federal government took away. . . If we don’t get these claims resolved in the next 180 days, we will see them in federal court," Colón said.
