Singleton Schreiber was recently featured in Las Vegas Optic in their article, "FEMA leader overseeing NM fire compensation fund to step down, agency announces" on January 18th, 2024 which covered the departure of Angela Gladwell who had been overseeing nearly $4 billion in compensations for victims of the Hermit's Peak and Calf Canyon fire which was caused by the federal Forest Service. The article provides Singleton Schreiber's accusation that FEMA was illegally waiting to start the clock on payment processing until they formally "acknowledged" claims rather than from the date a claim is submitted.
