Media Mention
Exchange Monitor

Vanessa Waldref and Dan Fruchter, Partners at Singleton Schreiber, were recently featured by Exchange Monitor in their article, "Ex-Federal Prosecutors from Eastern Washington Join Plaintiff Law Firm," which was published on April 28th, 2025.

The article covers Singleton Schreiber's April 28th announcement that Ms. Waldref and Mr. Fruchter have joined the firm as partners, bringing extensive experience in environmental, health care, and government fraud litigation.

The Exchange Monitor also highlights Ms. Waldref's tenure as a U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Washington, including when she opened a Tri-Cities Department of Justice office to better serve Southeastern Washington, launched a COVID Fraud Task Force, and recovered millions of dollars for taxpayers through False Claims Act enforcement.

The article also spotlights Mr. Fruchter's two decades of public service, during which he prosecuted major cases involving health care fraud, environmental violations, and complex civil and criminal matters.

Commenting on their arrival, Singleton Schreiber said:

"[Ms. Waldref and Mr. Fruchter joining the firm allows us] . . . to better protect Southeastern Washington communities and fight fraud that impedes environmental remediation of the Hanford Nuclear Site."
