Brett Schreiber, Partner of Singleton Schreiber was recently featured in a Fox 5 story, discussing the multiple lawsuits against Tesla, accusing the company of its autopilot system causing numerous deaths and injuries. The cases involve incidents where Tesla vehicles, with autopilot activated, were involved in serious collisions, including a San Diego State University graduate who survived with life-threatening injuries.
Schreiber states, “My clients in that case, as well as in every one of the cases I have against Tesla, they didn’t sign up for the beta test. There has never been an automotive maker in the last 100 years that uses production cars on the road to test and develop its products.”
Tesla maintains that drivers are ultimately responsible for vehicle control and has not responded to requests for comment.
