Attorneys from Singleton Schreiber representing residents of Moss Landing and environmental advocate Erin Brockovich address their lawsuit against Vistra and PG&E and the Moss Landing battery plant facility reopening just months after the February lithium-ion fire polluted toxins into the environment and surrounding community.

The plant’s reopening raises concern among locals who continue to face health and environmental impacts from the fire, including exposure to toxic gases and contamination of soil and water. Investigations into the fire’s causes and long-term effects remain ongoing, and comprehensive safety and emergency protocols have yet to be implemented.

Singleton Schreiber's lawsuit, in partnership with Brockovich, seeks accountability, medical monitoring for affected residents, and industry-wide reforms to ensure the safety of Moss Landing and prevent future disasters.
