Join fellow Singleton Schreiber attorneys at the CAOC 64th Annual Convention for the session From MSJs to Motions and Appellate Aftermath

Join Ben Siminou at the CAOC 64th Annual Convention, where he will be a panelist on the session “From MSJs to Motions and Appellate Aftermath” on Friday, November 14th, from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM (PT).

This session will provide practical strategies for opposing summary judgment and preserving the record on appeal. Topics include organizing evidence using a paginated or Bates-numbered compendium, authenticating deposition excerpts and discovery documents to avoid objections, and using evidence that creates a triable issue even if it isn’t yet in admissible form. The panel will also address when and how to request supplemental briefing to respond to evidentiary objections raised by the moving party.
