EATON FIRE TOWN HALL
Edison Wants Fire Victims to Settle for Half. Fire Victims Deserve Justice, Not Half a Settlement.
Recently, Edison released a draft protocol for its Wildfire Recovery Compensation Program. Like PG&E’s prior fire programs, it pushes victims to accept steep discounts, often around half their case’s true settlement value in exchange for quicker payments. Our firm finds this unacceptable. These fires were not natural disasters; they were the result of Edison’s negligence, driven by corporate profits.
We’ll review the final version once it’s published, but for now, we strongly encourage you to join Singleton Schreiber's local attorneys, in partnership with the NAACP, for a virtual Town Hall this Tuesday, October 07, 2025, at 6:00 PM PDT to learn more and ask questions.
